Our work sometimes takes us far from Lincoln but we see ourselves as part of our home community and try to play our part. We are, for example, very pleased to be supporting Lincoln Rugby Club again as a sponsor this season. We also support a number of local events each year, the most recent being:

Slam Jam - a series of events (“Slams”) in which 11 – 18 year olds from schools across Lincolnshire write and perform their own works: poetry, stories, dramatic monologues, raps... all culminating this year in a grand, celebratory final (“Slam Jam”) at Lincoln Drill Hall in late June. Slam Jam is run by CfBT and Lincoln Lindum Rotary Club and Globe is one of several supporters and sponsors.
Lincolnshire Young Environmentalist Awards – promoting and celebrating the achievements of students from Lincolnshire schools in projects to raise environmental awareness and care for their local environments. The Lincolnshire Environmental Awards are run by Lincoln Lindum Rotary Club and Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. Globe is one of several supporters and sponsors.
South Common Outdoor Classroom – an initiative led by OnTarget to provide outdoor teaching and learning space on Lincoln’s South Common. The project is led by CfBT, supported by Lincoln City Football Club and others, including Globe.
