Tackling the new proposed statutory duty for local authorities to prepare an economic assessment of their areas.

Working with Professor John Sheppard of Birkbeck College, University of London, Globe have identified a small number of places to pilot a tool to enable authorities to undertake an economic assessment of their area. The programme will involve a range of new and sophisticated data analysis techniques and the creation of an Action Learning Network amongst the authorities involved.
